The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure all orders shipped to customers are complete and correct. This position also works to ensure that returned windows and special orders are produced, repaired or replaced quickly by inserting them into the existing production schedules. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Expedite scheduled orders with all departments, especially production and shipping, to ensure on-time order completions and shipments.Help move all "hot" orders through the production process quickly.Follow-up on paperwork / completion of orders required for early shipments.Ship and track special orders through alternative carriers when necessary. The responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor role is to support the Logistics Manager in driving the process of continuous improvement for the administrative, warehouse, shop and/or delivery function. This position takes a lead role in meeting targets for productivity, safety, quality, costs, customer service and associate satisfaction/development within the distribution center.The Warehouse Supervisor coaches, trains, supports, and develops a team of flexible, multi-skilled associates in accordance with Andersen Corporation's values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.
