The Role

 

In partnership with senior leadership & stakeholders, s/he will lead the implementation of various, complex initiatives while ensuring alignment to business plans & strategy. S/he will oversee project management needs for delivering the stated goals and value required, including prioritization of experience features, planning cycles, and related resources. S/he will act as the hub and center of coordinating business understanding across teams and providing functional expertise to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Advises business leaders on prioritization process that strategically emphasizes initiatives, experience features, and planning cycles best suited to support business goals & objectives
  • Champions the effective utilization of best practices to ensure consistent, predictable implementation and delivery
  • Creates, implements, and oversees project/program management capabilities for initiatives, including the coordination of planning and execution across the business area and IT
  • Ensures appropriate alignment and use of studio capabilities to drive expected results
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with business sponsors and IT stakeholders, serves as a bridge between business strategic vision and project execution
  • Gathers and analyzes feedback on delivery results; identifies implications, and based on learnings provides recommended improvements for future initiatives
  • Leads the proactive identification of risks/issues/conflicts that may impede the implementation/integration of initiatives; acts as a single point of escalation and engages cross-functional leaders to evaluate issues and drive resolution
  • Liaises with business sponsors and technology partners to understand and validate that solutions meet business needs through the development of acceptance criteria and plans
  • Liaises with leadership to manage expectations and keep them apprised of status with regular updates
  • Manages overall progress and the allocation of resources so engagements and stated goals are successfully implemented on schedule and within budget
  • Partners with business unit leadership and stakeholders to lead execution and drive outcomes of strategic initiatives for assigned business area
  • Provides direction to internal & external resources and facilitates collaboration across the business and with outside partners to build consensus towards goals & objectives

 

Education 

 

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)in (Minimum Required)

 

Experience

 

  • 10+ Years experience in leading/managing complex customer experience initiatives/projects directly related to the specific responsibilities of this position(Required)
