Description

Our Global Fixed Income unit is currently seeking an Investment Officer lll to perform complex transactions, analysis and portfolio management associated with various types of securities and security market conditions, and independently recommends price levels of securities to be purchased or sold.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Execute trades, monitor compliance and settlement processes, provide reporting, performance analysis, market research and trade strategy.
  • Execute interest rate, credit, foreign exchange and all related derivative trades, assess liquidity and tailor trading strategy to suit current conditions, suggest and implement new methods to take trades from concept to execution.
  • Maintain and ensure portfolio and execution management systems are in place to achieve best execution and guideline compliance.
  • Responsible for promoting a customer service based environment by communicating effectively within the trading team and with other internal groups as needed. 
  • Independently research, structure and make timely recommendations on interest rate and currency trade ideas.
  • Develop models and perform ongoing transaction cost analysis (TCA) for interest rate and foreign exchange trades.
  • Develop and maintain relative value metrics for security selection in both cash and derivative markets.
  • Drafts and presents clear, concise and accurate reports to management on issues related to trading and managing global fixed income portfolios.
