AGCO is currently seeking a Corporate Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Financial Reporting team in Duluth, GA. The Corporate Financial Reporting Specialist will work in a fast paced environment in a high visibility role for a Fortune 300 company. The Corporate Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for financial reporting to the SEC as well to our CFO on a monthly basis.

 

Responsibilities of the Corporate Financial Reporting Specialist:

  • Prepares consolidated financial statements for monthly management reporting.
  • Assists in preparing all areas of SEC quarterly and annual reports as assigned.
  • Compiles financial information related to the Company's earnings releases and Form 8-Ks.
  • Assists in researching and implementing new accounting pronouncements, SEC and U.S. GAAP reporting and disclosure requirements.
  • Assists with Proxy compensation disclosures.
  • Assists with accounting for share-based compensation and other technical accounting areas and prepares related journal entries, documentation, reconciliation and disclosures.
  • Proactively identifies and implements process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures in accordance with SOX requirements. 
    Completes special projects as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications of the Corporate Financial Reporting Specialist:

  • 3 to 4 years of financial reporting experience or auditing experience with a public accounting firm
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CPA license

 

Preferred Qualifications of the Corporate Financial Reporting Specialist:

  • 1 to 3 years of SEC reporting experience at a public company

 

Education of the Corporate Financial Reporting Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree is preferred
