Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all purchase orders are correct and accurate 
  • Manage all documentation and related items for all projects 
  • Provide quotations for RFQ’s and bid proposals and ensure that they are in line with Company’s goals and objectives 
  • Provide necessary information to program managers in order to establish realistic due dates for product delivery 
  • Monitor and track projects to ensure deliverables are on schedule 
  • Provide production with all information needed to complete the projects on schedule 
  • Continuously improve processes and provide suggestions to keep pace with business and market change 
  • Answer incoming calls and direct callers to the right department

Job Requirements

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Able to work as part of a team 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications 
  • Two year college degree or equivalent work experience
