Deliver the electromechanical solutions on railway products by ensuring studies, detailed drawings and technical documentation (technical specification, structural calculation report, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT),...) following DFQ and Electromechanical Metier discipline processes.



•  Ensure his/her planning and budget (time + material) follow-up in collaboration with Product Architect and/or Product Design
•  Collaborate with the Product Architect and/orProductDesign for the product breakdown structure definition
•  Define the technical specification
•  Ensure that all the requirements/specifications can be validated
•  Define the feasibility study,
•  Define the operating, trailing and failure phases
•  Collaborate with Product Architect and/or Product Design for mock-up definition
•  Ensure mock-up design and follow its manufacturing, assembling and validation
•  Write structural (strength) calculation report
•  Manage the FEM process evolution due to software new releases and return of experience
•  Provide all necessary information for Safety and RAM analysis
•  Define the final (series) acceptance test specification
•  Define BOM
•  Define Assembly drawings

•  Define Detailed drawings
•  Be in charge of training external engineers onAlstom tools & software (Smarteam, SAP, CAD, etc…)
•  Propose the manufacturing process solution for every single component and participate of the first equipment inspection/approval
•  Be involved as expert in technical expertise in case of customer service needs (REX)
•  Be aware of the main laboratory tests available in order to define or approve tests plan proposals.
•  Investigate equipment failures and difficulties todiagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew
•  Be in charge of defining and perform training to internal and external customers
•  Contribute to continuous improvement of electromechanical métier processes
•  Collaborate with Interlocking (IXL) Integration dep.



BS  in Electrical or Electronics Engineering



3+ years in technical engineering

Experience in railroad/transit signaling market preferable



Excellent verbal and wirtten communication

Excellent organizational skills
