Role Value Proposition: 


The Financial Consultant’s is primarily responsible for analyzing and supporting the sign off for monthly actual case level financial results.  As a part of the Group Benefits Cross Portfolio Financial Metrics & Analysis team.  the role will participate in the Finance Transformation CLASIC HPCM Project and other FMG Transformation projects.  The Financial Consultant will partner with key stakeholders across the Finance and Group Benefits organizations.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Subject matter expert of CLASIC financial system.
  • Analyze and sign off on monthly actual case level financial results.
  • Craft monthly analysis of emerging results.
  • Model monthly expense allocation results for HPCM project.
  • Subject matter expert in understanding financial allocation rules for case level financial system.
  • Support re-engineering of monthly close cycle in conjunction with the implementation of HPCM.
  • Provide critical insight to business partners on key metrics of portfolio.




Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:



  • Working knowledge and experience in Finance and Financial Analysis
  • Strong MS Excel, MS Access, and MS power point



  • Group insurance product knowledge
  • Self-directed and highly motivated
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong process management skills
  • Excels at building partnerships and fostering teamwork
  • Manages performance independently and effectively
