As a Workforce Development Engineer Intern at Micron, you will be responsible for filling critical gaps in the equipment skills training program for engineers and technicians in our Technology Development organization.  This will include reviewing and updating the content of existing equipment courses to current procedures used in the industry.  It will also include reviewing and updating lab activities, and ensuring that the labs are equipped with all required parts and tools.  Finally, you will need to identify instructors for the courses from the engineering population and help them to become trained and prepared to deliver the classes effectively.



Ideal candidates for this position will have:

  • The ability to understand technical concepts
  • Experience working with equipment and tools
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving abilities
  • Effective project management skills
  • Good writing and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation and direction with a high level of initiative
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience in course development and instruction is a plus


Completion of sophomore year or higher, in an accredited engineering, technology, science, or education degree program
