What You'll Be Working On-

  • Works with the technology team and key business partners, plan design, build and rollout business process and system implementations to meet business objectives
  • Works with the project team to develop vision, scope, requirements, test and implementation plans which maximize allocation of resources ensure timeliness of delivery and optimize technology solutions
  • Develops and updates project plans; drives the completion of vendor contracts, and forms cost and resource estimates
  • Provides effective project control by monitoring and tracking progress and providing appropriate and timely updates to the project team and management
  • Prepares for and effectively leads project steering team meetings, to gain input, approvals, and decisions needed
  • Documents meeting outputs and follow-ups in a timely manner to keep the project team and tasks on track
  • Maintains a cost model for project financials - to track spending and identify budget risks and opportunities; submitting invoices, accruals and providing updated project spending forecasts per fiscal calendar deadlines
  • Establishes and maintains standards for project deliverables and ensures that they are effective to meet specifications and audit requirements
  • Contributes to advancing PMO artifact consistency and process improvements
  • Manages IT vendors to ensure quality and a timely delivery of services; maintains efficient and cost-effective services
  • Monitors customer satisfaction proactively by soliciting feedback and addressing concerns
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with business partners and IT colleagues

What You'll Need-

  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in information technology or business required
  • 7+ years of progressive, relevant technology experience - including corporate and consumer-facing technologies and working with different business stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, etc.)
  • Experience with successfully implementing diverse technology solutions - web, ecommerce, mobile, infrastructure, and/or Oracle - to internal stakeholders and brand customers
  • Knowledge/experience working with agile/scrum methodologies and digital agencies - a plus
  • Knowledge of franchise, retail, restaurant, and/or Oracle-based applications/technical platforms helpful - but not required
  • Project Management certification; proven experience using standard project management methodology to enable speed and quality
  • Experience with large-scale implementations of systems and processes, preferably in a restaurant or retail environment, with the demonstrated ability to effectively manage change
  • Practical experience in building business requirements
  • Organized, great attention to detail, commitment to quality, skilled at follow-up and follow-through; able to meet deadlines. Able to navigate and be comfortable in a fast-paced, energetic environment and juggle needs and priorities
  • Some project-based travel may be required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to meet common objectives through teamwork and with individuals, at all levels
  • Exercises critical thinking - asking the right questions; anticipating roadblocks for planning; pressure-tests project plans for robustness
  • Excellent verbal, written communications and presentation skills with an emphasis on being able to present technical topics in an easy to understand way for non-technical customers, and in summary form for executive reporting
  • Technical knowledge - strong Microsoft, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio (desired) & Microsoft Project skills
  • Must be able to work within the structure of the IT department and the Enterprise at large building business relationships which strengthen the work of the individual in the team model of project delivery
