  • Duties



    This position is located in the Food and Drug Administration, National Center for Toxicological Research, Office of Research, Division of Systems Biology, Jefferson, AR.

    Additional selections may be made within the same geographical area FDA-wide.


    • The incumbent of this position will perform the following at the full performance level:
    • Conduct studies of work processes and procedures in first line programs with the administrative, professional, or scientific organizations of the office.
    • Evaluate data and develop appropriate formats for summarizing data for use by management in budget justifications and planning documents.
    • Extracts scientific data, analyzes protocols and evaluates reports for operational planning process.
    • Use such techniques and methods as the statistical analysis of information systems; the review of progress reports; acquisitions of information from personnel documents, budget reports, and past management studies;
    • discussions and interviews with managers and workers; and the conduct of special inquiries.
    • Analyze the data and information to determine whether the Office is utilizing resources to their maximum potential have appropriate allocations with the Office in accordance with productivityand collaborations within and without the Center.
    • Analyst has principal liaison, evaluation and analysis responsibilitesfor coordinating project/program information with actual financial management data to facilitate procurement of outside funding and development of work plans.
