Job Overview:


The Membership Engagement Specialist will help driving a superior member experience, increasing membership sales, and enhancing membership connection and engagement, i.e. moving members from casual to connected to committed, thereby increasing membership and program retention. This position ensures that membership engagement operates efficiently and employs a continuous improvement model to meet and/or exceed goals for membership revenue.


Job Responsibilities/Duties:


  • Manage and support regional managers and chapter presidents.

  • Implement strategic content planning to engage and retain members.

  • Create and implement programming for weekly/monthly virtual and local events, tasks including but not limited to recruiting speakers, assist content/marketing collateral creation, presentation design, tutor walks-through of platform.

  • Develop relationships with corporate partners.

  • Launch, manage and maintain national chapters; provide daily guidance to maximize membership engagement and drive revenue.

  • Analyze chapter retention/cancellation, new membership and membership upgrade numbers to develop and deliver corporate goals.

  • Assessing and identifying chapter needs and tracking chapter progress.

  • Coordinate the creation/dissolution of new chapters.

  • Communicating headquarters’ products and services and events (including upcoming Section conferences).

  • Identifying chapter ‘best practices’ and providing advice as needed.

  • Attend numeral monthly and weekly events.

  • Create and maintain chapter/district budget.


  • At least 3 years of membership engagement experience in a consumer-focused, relationship-driven environment.

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.

  • Experience within e-commerce and/or direct to consumer platforms/organizations preferred.

  • Experience managing budgets and sales plans.

  • Experience in developing short and long term strategic plans.

  • Exceptional collaboration skills, proven ability to form strong cross-functional relationships with varying business partners.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to understand, adapt to and interact with diverse people, teams, perspectives and cultures.

  • You’re cheerful and solutions oriented.
