Position Description:

  • Ensure all deadlines are met with respect to the processing of payroll, reporting and reconciliations
  • Manage supplier services thru closely developed relationship
  • Facilitate testing and validation of system changes\implementations with regards to supplier managed service
  • Facilitate and maintain all controls necessary for an audit ready stream
  • Supervise team, resolve conflict and adjust workload as necessary
  • Work with Process Delivery Owner to identify opportunities for new business or process improvements
  • Set objectives for the stream and individuals and monitor their progress
  • Manage department costs to meet or exceed budget
  • Escalation point for issues and resolutions
  • Determine issues that need to be escalated further
  • Energize the organization to anticipate and respond quickly to new challenges; Build support for change through clear communications; Move quickly when a change in direction is needed; sustain changes through ongoing communication, process integration and personal actions.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Corning Shared Services or other process-intensive experience
  • Supervisory experience

Required Skills:

  • Working Payroll, Financial and Business System knowledge
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical Skills
