In one sentence

The Indirect Sourcing Manager is responsible for all business-related activities that Amdocs performs with its suppliers in the facility category under his / her responsibility across the regions, in order to optimize costs, service and quality. This position is also responsible overseeing the proper execution of construction and turnkey fit out projects as per contract conditions, scheduling and executing within budgets, while ensure proactive project planning, stakeholder and risk management takes place throughout projects life cycle.

What will your job look like?

  • Perform all sourcing & contracting activities including pre-qualification of suppliers, tender management, negotiation & closure of contracts to obtain optimal total cost of ownership (cost, service, quality).
  • Work closely with Amdocs global services units in order to fully understand their needs from Procurement.
  • Oversee the proper execution of turnkey fit out projects as per contract conditions, scheduling & executing within budgets, while ensure proactive project planning, stakeholder and risk management takes place across projects.
  • Lead RFP processes, preparation & execution, including all data gathering & analysis (demand management) to fulfillment of selection processes (CBA), to identify cost reduction opportunities and achieve financial goals.
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers and act as the owner of the entire P2P process, provide periodic reporting for management on Procurement activities and savings. 
  • Facility Procurement Expert covers all aspects of buildings overall fit-out, general facilities associate purchases per campus setup, including 3rd facility party contracts and campus premises sub-contractors.

All you need is...

  • Bachelor's degree (LLB, Industrial Engineering, Economics) - mandatory (MAB - advantage)
  • Min 5 years of procurement expertise, with experience in facility indirect procurement
  • Proven record in complex construction projects, site up lifts, expansion \downsize, fit outs, renovation, dilapidation
  • In depth understanding of Facilities Procurement Category, with proven record in its main Sub-Categories: Meals, Electricity, Vehicles, Premises Repairs & Maintenance, Cleaning, Security, Building works, Renovations, Leased Hold Improvements, etc.
  • Ability to execute and implement the procurement strategy within the various sites, while leading the day-to-day procurement activities on the tactical level \ commercial offers for various indirect sourcing & services.
  • Record in leading diverse contract process (small to large), ability to navigate in complex matrix organization
  • Fluent in English (Spanish and Portuguese - advantage)
  • Vast Experience in operating ERP & PO’s, governance and commercial control.
  • Team Lead – Managerial experience of a small-scale team
  • Travel availability – Frequency approx. once a quarter.
