Position Summary

This is a full time position located at 1901 William Flynn Highway, Glenshaw, PA.  The primary function of this position is to safely operate various manufacturing or packaging equipment within established productivity and quality standards.  Energizer offers a competitive compensation package which includes full medical and retirement savings coverage, paid vacation and holidays.

Accountabilities
  • Operate manufacturing or packaging equipment efficiently to meet productivity expectations
  • Perform quality checks and record data as required
  • Make equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
  • Ability to maintain the pace of production while demonstrating a high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrate initiative to identify and apply solutions
  • Must follow all safety standards at all times
  • Must maintain a consistently reliable attendance record
Required Skills and Experience
  • At least 2 years of production/manufacturing operations experience
  • Ability to stand, bend and/or lift up to 50 pounds for up to 10 hours
  • Ability to differentiate colors, speak and read English
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Associate or Technical degree
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Previous Plant/Warehouse, Packaging, Manufacturing experience preferred
Working Relationships & Environment
  • Wage: $13.00/hour
  • Alternate shifts and/or overtime may be required. 1st Shift:  M-F 8a - 4:30 p 2nd Shift:  M-Th 4:30 p - 3 a
  • Must be able to work both individually and as a team member
  • Exposure to certain fragrances and/or chemicals may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Must pass background check and drug screen for employment.
