Job Responsibilities/Duties:


  • The PR manager will be responsible for supporting all public relations and marketing initiatives of the company, including defining and implementing strategies for external/internal communications.

  • Define strategic media channels and partners for news distribution.

  • Pitch media coverage of the company and products.

  • Build, maintain and expand media relations.

  • Create and implement strategies to enhance and improve the profile of the company and our US and China businesses.

  • Implement internal communication programs that support company goals and promotes a global understanding of corporate strategy.

  • Work with marketing team to utilize print, digital and social media, along with other technology to enhance corporate communication and brand image.

  • Create corporate communications materials, including informational packets, advertising/marketing efforts, press releases, supports and trains management for media interaction, and manages internet/intranet content.

  • Work closely with company leaders and marketing team on both external and internal event planning, execution and pre/post-event media exposure.

  • Must have corporate PR and crisis communication experiences.

Key Qualities:

  • At least 4 years of corporate public relations experience.

  • Experience within e-commerce and/or direct to consumer platforms/organizations preferred.

  • Experience in developing short and long term strategic plans.

  • Exceptional collaboration skills, proven ability to form strong cross-functional relationships with varying business partners.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Strong network in the media industry and social circles.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of external and internal partners.

  • Creative thinker; cheerful and solutions-oriented team player.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related field.  Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate marketing, public relations and/or communications.
