Description

Scope of Position (i.e. projects involved with and role within group):Quality Inspector •Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests at different stages of production•Performs visual and measurement tests of materials and products•Measures products with calipers, gauges, and automated measurement systems•Accepts or rejects finished items•Removes all products and materials that fail to meet specifications•Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputting data into quality database •Utilizes Microsoft Office software programs•Discusses inspection results with those responsible for products and make recommendations for process improvementsEducation and Experience (minimum required for consideration)•Good working conditions; cleanroom environment•High School Diploma or GED requiredRequired Skills (These are skills that candidates MUST possess)•Requires 1-3 years of related experienceDesired Skills (These are skills that would be nice for candidates to possess)•Semiconductor working experience•Cleanroom experience•Visual – Microscope inspection•Operating Automated measurement tool – Nikon•Computer/data entry skills – working knowledge of ExcelSoft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership)•Ability to work with minimal supervision•Ability to balance collaboration and quality assertiveness with coworkers and supervisors•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team member in a fast-paced manufacturing environment •Solid communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)•Effective cross functional collaboration mindset and approach •Attention to detail and quality paramount.•Good organizational skills and ability to be flexible with changing work demands. •Highly motivated, results oriented, customer focused, with a high commitment levelHours of work/work schedule/flex-time:Initial schedule M-F approximately 8am-5pmPotential for overtime on weekendsNeeds to be flexible to when Mgmt turns on shift scheduleTravel Requirements: (Please note if international)May have to travel to Santa Barbara Site on weekly basis.
