Position Overview

As a Risk and Control Specialist Senior, within PNC's Enterprise Data Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Wilmington, DE.

This Risk and Control Specialist Senior, will serve as a deputy to the Senior Vice President and Data Group Senior Manager leading the larger team. This role will act as a generalist, managing a variety of high profile projects simultaneously, while playing a key role in supporting the growth and day to day operations of the Model Data Support Group. Among other things, the responsibilities will include Demand Management, Stakeholder and Client communication, PMO support for major initiatives, and other general theses such as budget & group strategy.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, advanced Microsoft Office Product knowledge, specifically related to Excel and PowerPoint, Project Management experience and a background in analytics. MBA is strongly desired.
Job Profile

  • Partners within risk management to plan and execute the risk management program and corresponding communication strategies. Engages the lines of business to review and challenge compliance with programs.
  • Coordinates and implements the risk management program to meet regulatory expectations.
  • Coordinates the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and across the lines of business. Includes consultation to execute the program components.
  • Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Technology Risk, etc.) to proactively identify risk exposures across PNC.
  • Challenges business self assessment results (including new initiatives, business as usual activities, and risk management program) and reviews applicable independent analyses.

Required Education and Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
