Leidos has a career opening for an Second-In-Command (Co-Pilot) located CONUS/OCONUS.


The job of the Second-In-Command (Co-Pilot) in King Air 350 aircraft to support contracted OCONUS flight operations. The qualified candidate will support all flight operational duties as a Second-In-Command (Co-Pilot) in the King Air 350 aircraft from flight planning, pre and post flight operations and as requested by the site lead, Pilot-In-Command (PIC) and Leidos program Chief Pilot. Pilots must meet our high standards of aviator skill, safety, professionalism, and customer focus. Pilots are required to live and work in austere conditions. Applicants will be required initially to operate the aircraft as directed for CONUS flight operations primarily from the Manassas, VA airport for approximately 6 to 8 months after hire. After which time the pilot will begin deploying OCONUS on a 60/60 day on/off rotational schedule.


*Operate aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations, and program/corporate policies and procedures.

*Must note and communicate aircraft deficiencies for maintenance review and correction.

*Perform flights in day, and night, and all weather conditions when called upon.



*Bachelors degree and 12 years of related experience. Additional years experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

*500 hours of Pilot in Command time.

*Must hold at least a Commercial Airplane Multiengine and Instrument Airplane Airman Certificate.

*Must be at least 21 years of age

*Must be a U.S. Citizen

*Must possess a current passport

*Must possess a valid state driver's license

*Must read, write, speak and understand English

*Must possess an FAA Class II Medical Certificate

*Must possess an active security clearance at the SECRET level, or higher


*1000 hours of PIC time

*300 hours PIC time in King Air 300/350 or similar multi-engine, turboprop aircraft

*Proline 21 or similar glass cockpit experience

*Former U.S. Military, Customs, DEA Pilot

*U.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, Maintenance Pilot

*Prior OCONUS rotation experience, particularly in current area of operation

*Active Security clearance with a Top Secret classification
