About the role:

The Senior Manager, Capital Service and Sales Program will lead the development and execution of capital service and sales program strategies across the Urology and Pelvic Health capital portfolio.  This position provides an experienced marketer an opportunity to shape the strategic direction for service strategy for a division that has a large and growing capital portfolio.  This role will require close collaboration with multiple functions and global colleagues, as well as a good understanding of customer needs and processes, to be successful.


Your responsibilities will include:


Service Strategy Development and Execution

  • Develops service strategies to support division-wide capital portfolio, including contract definition and pricing
  • Drives revenue forecasts for service products and evaluates financial performance to optimize service pricing and ensure service profitability
  • Creates service metrics to measure divisional service results and evaluates ways to drive enhanced performance
  • Partners with Corporate Service Organization to ensure proper support and execution of divisional service plans
  • Creates innovative downstream marketing solutions and tools to create value and support the needs of the Sales team
  • Contributes to evaluation of product life cycle management as it relates to service obligations and product requirements


Sales Program Development and Support

  • Develops creative, industry-leading sales programs for capital portfolio that provide value to our customers and BSC
  • Evaluates competitive landscape and customer needs to determine if sales programs are optimized for existing / future market dynamics
  • Develops marketing tools needed to successfully launch and promote sales programs
  • Works with cross-functional partners (finance, legal, service, and capital contracts) to ensure successful execution of sales programs


Sales Training and Analytics

  • Develops training tools to support launch of new service and program offerings, as well as training programs that help drive service sales excellence
  • Participates in local, regional, and national training events to support training initiatives
  • Understands SalesForce.com and how to use commercial tools to build product analytics
  • Develops sales reports on capital product lines and analytics to support recommendations


What we’re looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in product marketing, with support of capital equipment products required
  • Medical device experience required
  • Capital equipment service and sales program marketing preferred
  • Experience creating impactful marketing plans, and developing value propositions, positioning and targeting
  • Experience building relationships with key customers and cross-functional partners
  • Analytical capabilities to evaluate data and develop financial models required
  • Domestic and international travel up to 20%
