The Senior Manager of Global Campaigns is at the center of this transformation.
Our Global Media Campaigns leader is responsible for driving the campaign planning, execution and measurement process for both Media & Entertainment and Gaming industries. This highly strategic as well as operational role will be responsible for establishing priority needs-based campaigns, delivering the messaging, leading the content strategy and possibly managing the delivery of content and assets to support demand creation, reputation management and sales enablement. The majority of Marketing sourced revenue will be driven through these campaigns, making this role a critical position within our Media Global Marketing organization.

About the Team:

This role is part of a team that delivers both Global Campaigns and Global Demand Programs for Akamai’s Media Division. This small team relies heavily on working with subject matter experts across Akamai, as well as Sales and Field Marketing, that align with 2 major industry segments: Media & Entertainment, and Gaming. We think globally to deliver what’s needed for our field marketers to act locally. We believe a tight alignment with Sales and Product are fundamental to success. We are focused on using progressive marketing strategies and making data-driven decisions. We believe we should be held accountable for revenue contribution. We are aligned to common goals including driving more revenue from Marketing, driving higher productivity for both Marketing and Sales, and building customer relationships that will engage them to stay with us for the long haul.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager of Media Campaigns is responsible for the strategic objective of maximizing revenue generation from Media Field, Global & Corporate Marketing through strategic campaigns. This leader will orchestrate outputs from marketing strategy and product marketing to craft campaigns the marketing organization will execute. This role will also be responsible for the managing the content strategy for each campaign. Success of the campaigns will come through the deployment of reputation programs, demand programs, sales enablement programs and Market Intelligence. They will have the support of agencies and our campaign stakeholders. Success for this senior contributor will be created through but not limited to:

- Working with global teams that align to product marketing, industry marketing and sales to define campaign themes for a 12 month+ timeframe.
- Documenting the responsibilities of various functions during the campaign planning and execution lifecycle.
- Working with stakeholders and agencies to identify content required to shape campaign engagement needs, by persona and buying cycle, globally.
- Project managing the creation of global assets, ensuring their funding, design, creation, translation and deployment globally, tracking results by campaign.
- Working with Marketing Operations to measure campaign performance, and with field, global and corporate leaders to course-correct as campaigns unfold.
- Managing the coordination of communication with key stakeholders, including Sales, Field Marketing, Global Programs and Corporate Marketing for ongoing business reviews.
- Coordinating with key functions as they fulfill on the programs that comprise a campaign (reputation, demand creation, sales enablement, market intelligence), and the tactics that comprise these programs.
- Success metrics include:
- Campaign impact on pipeline and revenue.
- Achievement of individual program goals (reputation, demand, sales enablement and market intelligence).
- Achievement of tactical goals.
- Campaign project performance including accuracy and adherence to plan.
- Budget management.
- Stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus.
* 12+ years of successful experience across a range of Marketing disciplines.
* 5+ years of experience designing and managing progressive demand creation programs.
* Global experience as campaign or demand program manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience developing campaigns within a persona framework.
* Working knowledge of the SiriusDecisions Campaign Framework.
* Experience developing in personas.
* Experience in developing content. Working knowledge of SiriusDecisions Content Model a plus.
* Direct or tightly aligned experience with Portfolio/Solutions Marketing.
* Experience with Media & Entertainment and/or Gaming industries a plus.
* Experience in internet industry a plus.
* Hands-on experience with Marketing Resource Management solutions is a plus.
* Sales experience is a plus.
