Under general direction, is a business partner to the chief of the specialty service lines (up to 5 specialties per senior service line manager) in the planning and executing of the operational, legal and financial, capital planning needs of the specialty. Directs and coordinates new and ongoing specialty projects and activities in the implementation and monitoring of clinical programs and organizational initiatives and innovations such as population health. Manages the recruitment and departure of medical staff. Analyzes and reports on trends and performance outcomes.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, public health or equivalent training (or equivalent education, training or experience) required. Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

At least 10 years of progressively responsible management experience in planning, development, financial analysis and operations management required. Background in health care, business development and supervisory experience preferred. Requires an in depth knowledge of planning and systems and tools, and operations management.

SKILLS

Must possess excellent project management, analytic, interpersonal and communication skills.
