The Sourcing Leader will define the future state operating model for Talent Sourcing at Biogen and lead a large, geographically dispersed team accountable to deliver short and longer-term sourcing needs for all divisions at Biogen.
Job Description
Working collaboratively with the Global Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, s/he will establish principals on when to deploy sourcing resources consistent with business priorities. The Sourcing Leader will play a critical role in elevating our capabilities in Sourcing across the TA function. This individual will also contribute to shaping Biogen's Employee Value Proposition/Branding, TA Social Media Strategy, and Diversity Sourcing strategy. This position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts and will report to the Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition Leader.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Develop an operating model that differentiates Biogen's Sourcing capabilities in the Biotechnology Talent Acquisition community ensuring the delivery of the highest quality and diverse talent within the industry.
*Collaborates with leadership to set pipeline strategy and enhances operational processes to enable strategic workforce planning
*Lead, develop, and inspire a large, geographically dispersed team of Sourcing Partners in support of all Biogen's divisions (R\u0026D, Medical, Commercial, Pharmaceutical Operations \u0026 Technology, and Corporate Functions).
*Partner with the TA leadership team determine strategic and tactical direction, methodology and resources required to develop and implement competitive sourcing programs in support of short and long-term business drivers and hiring needs
*Continuously analyzes market conditions, trends, and the competitive talent landscape across all channels, adjusting sourcing plans as needed and ensuring these align with Biogen's strategic priorities and changing business needs. Drive thought leadership on investment decisions and trade-offs in TA.
*Establish standards, metrics and best-practices for the sourcing team, and provides direction, coaching and training as appropriate. Use data, analytics and insights to inform, influence and drive change - both operational and behavioral - across the Sourcing function. Drive an accountable and results oriented organization.
*Participate in the development of employer and recruitment branding campaigns that will differentiate Biogen, build awareness for our opportunities and ensure that Biogen continues to be an employer of choice. Evaluate opportunities to enhance candidate experience to ensure that we deliver an experience commensurate with our brand promise.
*Stays abreast of industry trends and best-practices, and introduce innovative cutting-edge talent acquisition and sourcing practices and techniques to the Talent Acquisition team and business
*Create a high-performance culture that attracts, develops, and retains sourcing talent at Biogen.
*Demonstrated track record of building new capabilities, standards, and efficient models to advance capabilities in TA/Sourcing.
*Decisive and action oriented; strong strategic thinking and organization skills to link sourcing strategies with multi-faceted talent and pipeline needs
*Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion and openness to innovation, enabling an environment where teams learn, grow and perform their best work. A leader recognized for promoting a trusting and healthy culture.
*Strong relationship management and influence skills particularly in building alignment with peers and partners across HR and in the business.
*Stays abreast of trends and uses facts and analytics to articulate recommendations and to influence decision-making.
*Bachelors or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience as a manager of Talent Acquisition/Sourcing.
