Job Description

The Account Director is assigned to multiple Strategic Accounts and will report to a Regional Sr. Director.  The Account Director will:

  • Manage and direct all Sabre engagement activities with the client
  • Responsible for client satisfaction
  • Primary point of contact for client regarding all Sabre issues across Airline Solutions
  • Establish and maintain long term client executive relationships
  • Work closely with the client on short and long term strategies to achieve the clients'  and Sabre’s strategic goals
  • Manage and direct issue resolution
  • Ensure Sabre project delivery methodologies are followed to ensure  quality deliverables within budget and defined timelines
  • Manage overall profit and loss related to the assigned Account
  • Be well versed around all commercial terms, maintenance and support needs, project delivery activities, timelines and project scope.
  • Understand the clients' business and market challenges, and be able to articulate Sabre Airline Solutions capabilities to address  such challenges
  • Establish working relationships with the Client at C- Levels and within Sabre to drive meaningful conversations.
  • Engage the clients' executive stakeholders to provide input and comments around the Account Plan.  Share and articulate Account Plan goals and align plan with client objectives
  • Establish regular executive business review sessions articulating the state of the account, strategic objectives, project progress and other key client performance metrics
  • Articulate the value and purpose of implementing the Net Promoter Score –NPS- methodology to the client and discuss results and action plans in executive review meetings

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 12 years experience in sales, account management or airline industry; thorough knowledge of company's product and service offerings required.

Minimum 5 years of airline industry experience 

Must possess advanced computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects/activities simultaneously essential.
