    This position is located in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Office of New Drugs (OND), Office of Antimicrobial Products (OAP), Division of Anti-infective Products (DAIP) located in Sliver Spring, MD.

    Who May Apply: Current FDA Federal employees with career or career-conditional appointments in the competitive service; displaced Federal employees requesting special priority selection consideration under the Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP) and the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP); PHS Commissioned Corps Officers; and individuals with disabilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Review and evaluate scientific submissions focusing on nonclinical, clinical, microbiology and animal studies.
    • Review and evaluate the results of the microbiology and/or immunology studies submitted by the drug sponsor/applicant.
    • Prepare comprehensive summaries and integrated summaries of data presented for review.
    • Assign work to subordinates based on priorities and evaluate the performance work by subordinates.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
