Talent Management Business & System Analyst

This role will be focused on supporting talent programs within SuccessFactors. As part of an HRIS optimization and implementation project, will analyze current-state systems and processes and work with various partners to ensure business requirements are met as systems are consolidated into SuccessFactors. The project will span over 18 months and will evolve into ongoing support, optimization, and innovation. The role requires a high degree of communication and collaboration, often juggling competing voices and priorities.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support SuccessFactors modules including Succession & Career Planning, Goal and Performance Management, Compensation, Calibration, and Learning, with applicable talent partnerships
  • Support talent management processes, including form and workflow management
  • Provide reporting & analytics guidance to functional partners
  • Ensure HRIS analyst collaboration on maximizing business value from the People Profile
  • Project management support for implementation, configuration, and upgrade projects, inclusive of all applicable partnerships
  • Design and maintain system processes, procedures and support documentation, including related security and reporting
  • Influence SuccessFactors roadmap through online community involvement and thorough business analysis
  • Review quarterly releases and other system changes; study and prepare for impact to system and company
  • Provide support in reconciling historical and current talent systems and processes into SuccessFactors integration
  • Ensure leverage of native data integration within SuccessFactors
  • Provide applicable system training, testing, and support
  • Act as a reporting & analytics consultant with functional partners as needed
  • Analyze business processes and consult business partners on system capabilities
  • Log tickets as needed with IT and SuccessFactors as needed
  • Work in the following SuccessFactors modules: Succession & Career Planning, Goal & Performance Management, Calibration, LMS (with functional partnership), and Compensation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of systems-related experience
  • Experience administering SuccessFactors required; implementation experience preferred
  • Successfully manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to negotiate with partners to reach the most effective business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and database management principles
  • Familiarity with SharePoint helpful
  • In-depth knowledge of talent processes
  • Familiarity with HTML, XML and MDF helpful for communication with IT
  • Understanding of talent processes impact within the employee lifecycle
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Expertise in Excel
