Role Value Proposition: 

Provides exemplary customer service by managing total absence claims in a timely and accurate fashion.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participates in customer presentations, new account implementations and special projects.
  • Anticipates, resolves and responds to Total Absence Management claim problems or productivity issues.
  • Works with customers to negotiate, arbitrate, and resolve issues, concerns, and expectations regarding process, service and performance guarantees.
  • Accountable for ensuring team performance with delivery on customer commitments and high quality claim decisions.
  • Acts as a project lead and /or participates in various project assignments.
  • Conducts quality management reviews to ensure financial and decisional accuracy – identify training opportunities and process improvements as outcomes.
  • Full people management responsibility, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or required.



Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:




  • High School Diploma.
  • 7+ years of claims experience with 2+ years of experience in leadership position.
  • Solid business knowledge of Total Absence Management products
  • Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
  • Proficient in use of multiple systems and technology resources.
  • Ability to read, interpret and explain contracts and Total Absence Management plans.   



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
