Job Purpose

  • Directs and manages a cross disciplined team responsible for establishing the strategic direction of technology architectural design in order to meet stakeholder needs and business strategies.
  • Leads and mentors a team of Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, & Engineers.
  • Direct management responsibility for technology Directors & Senior Directors.
  • Responsible for creating the comprehensive strategy for all enterprise technology standards for ALSAC’s network including design and integration of solutions.
  • Responsible for alignment with ALSAC Senior Leadership to ensure technology priorities are consistent with business strategies and divisional priorities.
  • Leads enterprise architecture to establish methods for technology delivery consistent with information security and industry best practices.
  • Responsible for managing multiple teams ensuring the group meets established KPIs for system reliability.
  • In partnership with CIO, and ITS Sr. Leadership, determines architectural technology investment priorities, strategies, and long range capital requirements.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of software and infrastructure technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, networks and architecture
  • Ability to articulate both business and IT needs/issues to all groups
  • Ability to interact well with team members and business users
  • Excellent project management skills; excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Requires knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 8+ years’ experience years of experience in information technology and 4+ years management experience
  • Requires a valid driver's license
