Director Vaccines Franchises
Join us as the Director of Companion Animal Vaccine Marketing, where you'll lead the commercial growth of our innovative vaccine and therapeutic portfolios. Reporting to the Executive Director of the Companion Animal and Equine Business Unit Marketing, you'll develop and execute a dynamic brand strategy for our canine and feline vaccines while steering future pipeline products.
Your strategic leadership will address unmet market needs and enhance the customer experience with our company's Animal Health. With a strong background in strategic marketing across various therapeutic classes, you'll collaborate with internal teams to be the 'voice and ear' of the franchise, driving customer-centric solutions.
In this role, you'll manage the brand team focused on crafting impactful messaging and overseeing all marketing initiatives, including advertising, product pricing, and industry programs. You'll also be accountable for the portfolio's financial performance, driving topline sales and profit contributions.
Key responsibilities include recruiting and developing top talent, guiding your team in executing routine marketing functions, and steering the annual tactical and long-term strategic planning for the portfolio.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Talent Leadership and Development
Lead a high-performing team to integrate analytics and insights, to make data-driven recommendations to advance the portfolio
Define and drive accountability across the team for performance of brands
Lead in cross functional collaboration
Recruit, hire, develop, and retain top marketing talent
Messaging and Value Proposition
Creating the product positioning, messaging, and value proposition for our company's Vaccine, Therapeutic, and Equine product ranges
Partnering with agencies, communications, professional services, you and your teams will be the strategic mind behind all the content to differentiate our brands
Communications & Demand Generation Collaboration
Focus the teams to create driving campaigns that reach the right target; with the right message; delivering ROI and business outcomes.
Provide project team leadership to ensure successful product launches.
Driving the segmentation strategy by thinking through the target buyers, ideal customer profile, target industries. Building out solutions as well as prescriptive use cases (a hierarchy of platforms, solutions).
Sales Enablement and Support
Leading by example, collaborating closely with sales and sales enablement to understand the go-to-market motions to create powerful sales collateral and tools including webinars, pitch/demo presentations, technical monograph's, etc.
Measurement, Analysis, Iteration & Action:
Understanding how the platforms and products are performing and driving iterative change as necessary to drive measurable results.
Stakeholder Communication & Thought Leadership
You will be one of the most cross functional leaders partnering across the organization on global strategies and execution.
You will also be seen as a thought leader in the space by presenting content across a variety of outlets including industry and customer events, webinars, blog posts, press pitches
Background & Education:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA degree preferred
Advance degree in Veterinary medicine/animal science/microbiology/pharmacology desirable
Required Experience and Skills:
At least 10 years relevant work experience in marketing/technical service/sales with a successful track record working actively with positioning and messaging to create the best performing campaigns, stories, and product launches
People management experiencemandatory
Creating and defining segmentation, positioning, messaging, go-to-market, and lifecycle strategies based on market research, competitive analysis, and an unwavering focus on the customer
Managing and executing the strategic product marketing and launch plans to drive revenue
Digital marketing acumen with focus on lead gen
Monitoring and yield improved performance metrics including revenue, pricing, forecasting, sales cycle, markets, and sales opportunity targets
Interpersonal skills that will help in developing and building strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders to collaborate and drive results for business unit
Experience in pharmaceutical development and production is a plus

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$187,000.00 - $294,400.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
