PURPOSE: Manage Community Relations efforts on behalf of Andersen, including corporate giving and employee engagement. Lead execution of signature employee volunteer programs. Align corporate cash and in-kind donations with Andersen Corporate Foundation giving to maximize impact, visibility and engagement. Nurture Andersen's relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to advance the company's corporate citizenship and business objectives. Enhance and support Andersen's corporate social responsibility efforts by protecting and building the company's reputation as a business and industry leader.


  • Manage the corporate giving portfolio. Evaluate the effectiveness of current partnerships and identify new opportunities to align giving and engagement with the company's strategic priorities. Continue to evolve regional giving and engagement strategy to expand impact to align with enterprise footprint.
  • Oversee signature employee engagement events and programs including the annual employee giving campaign. Formalize enterprise approach to employee volunteer engagement; develop strategy to activate and engage site leadership and local champions.
  • Define and monitor key performance metrics for corporate social responsibility that align with strategic priorities. Measure progress and provide leadership with regular updates.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications leadership to elevate giving and volunteerism to foster a special place to work and support the company's employment brand. Identify opportunities to link community relations intiatives to customer and consumer marketing priorities.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with organizations and individuals in communities where we operate to demonstrate corporate citizenship commitment. Provide leadership to support corporate response to natural disasters, including philanthropic and in-kind donations and employee engagement .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and advance key enterprise priorities, including sustainabity; diversity, equity and inclusion; STEM education; and operational excellence.
  • Manage nonprofit board portfolio. Assist HR and exernal nonprofit partnership in matching key leaders with strategic priority nonprofit organizations.
  • Oversee Community Relations and Corporate Giving budget.


  • Effectively manage community relations specialist.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams.

  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in community relations or related field, including corporate giving, employee engagement, public affairs and communications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a number of projects and programs simultaneously
  • Strategic thinker, planner, organizer, self-starter, team player, excellent communicator/writer, project manager, diplomat, relationship builder
