  • Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets. Plan effective strategies for the financial wellbeing of the company.
  • Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.
  • Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
  • Provides input to the development of product strategy, research, and development of new and emerging products.
  • Insures that the organization complies with all requirements of the quality requirements of the quality management system, and works to continually improve operations from a quality systems perspective.
  • Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
  • Provides guidance to the development of manufacturing process plans, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling/equipment.
  • Reviews production and operating reports, directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
  • Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
  • Trains to ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Identifies the capital equipment and lease-hold improvements for the organization, along with the development of its justification and return on investment.
  • Creates and distributes monthly operations reports to V.P. Responsible to conduct GMOR reporting.
  • Assist with development of yearly business plan. Participate in quality audits as necessary.
. Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in business/manufacturing or equivalent managerial experience in a manufacturing related environment; Master in BA a plus but not required. 7-10 years of managing manufacturing operation experience preferred. Accuracy with numbers is essential, experience with computers is required, typing skill is a must, and must have good communication skills. Must be adaptable enough to meet changing conditions and situations and learn new duties and assignments with ease. Must be a role model of company culture.
