Job Description

AIS is looking for a High Volume, Residential Alarm Technician, Join our Team today! This is a technical position that requires applicable skills and knowledge of alarm systems. If you have a knack for technical troubleshooting and working with integrated systems, then you could be our next great technician. We provide our technicians with the latest systems integration training, administrative support and periodical training on new advances in the field. Our technicians deliver great customer service while integrating systems and modernizing the security capabilities of our business and residential customers.

What is the career like as an Alarm Technician at AIS?

  • Meet clients and perform work order request on new installations
  • Perform occasional service orders on current client systems
  • Provide demonstrations for new users
  • Diagnostics and programming new systems

Minimal qualifications include:

  • Experienced or com-certified technicians
  • One-year experience with alarm installations including window contacts, cameras and panel programming
  • Experience in hardwire and wireless systems integration
  • Knowledge of home automation installation and programming
  • Experience in troubleshooting and service updating alarm systems and hardware
  • Comfortable with working in customer’s homes and businesses including but not limited to crawl spaces and attics in alternating weather conditions
  • Responsibility in maintaining company property and inventory accuracy
  • Punctuality for appointments scheduled
  • Comfortable with traveling to appointments within a 100-mile radius
