About the position

Reporting to the Senior Director and Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer, the Senior Analyst serves as the lead technical subject matter expert for Human Resources systems including Human Capital Management (HCM)/HRIS (Workday). The Senior Analyst is responsible for various surveys and reports including the HR component of IPEDS, Veterans 4212 report, CUPA-HR Salary Surveys, as well as all internal and external reports that are requested/required from Human Resources. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all Federal, State, NSHE, and College reports and/or surveys are completed in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner. Position provides IT support, report generation, HR website development and maintenance, and data management, collection, and analysis to the Human Resources Department, in addition to data collection and analysis in response to college-wide, NSHE System Office, and Board of Regents requests. Assists with the development of department and college-wide policies and procedures pertaining to a wide range of IT Subjects.

Required Qualifications

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field from a regionally accredited college/university and a minimum of 3 years related technical experience creating and running queries/reports and/or maintaining computer systems or Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems from a regionally accredited college/university and 7 years of related technical experience creating and running queries/reports and/or maintaining computer systems.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with data management, reporting and analysis from HRIS/HRMS systems (Workday, Banner, Oracle, etc.).

 


Preferred Qualifications

 

 

  • Demonstrated experience working with Workday ERP to include data management, reporting, and/or analysis
  • Experience testing, maintaining and monitoring computer programs and/or systems
  • Experience with IPEDS, Veterans 4212, and/or CUPA-HR Salary Surveys
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to guide and assist non-technical staff with technical-related problem solving
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with conflicting priorities
  • Computer/technical position experience in higher education
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication
  • Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
