Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware BCBA licensure/certification (confirmation required with application)
  • Proven experience in de-escalation and crisis response within school settings
  • Prior school-based BCBA experience, especially supporting severe disabilities and autism spectrum populations
  • Proficiency in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and writing effective Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative educational team
Core Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an integral member of the crisis team, providing de-escalation support
  • Lead and document Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop comprehensive Behavior Support Plans tailored to individual needs
  • Collaborate on behavior-related goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support and train school staff in behavioral interventions and data collection
  • Ensure on-site availability for all student and school staff needs
