Customer Service Supervisor

Position Overview:
Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to Distribution Direct, Contract Manufacturing, OEM clients, and their customers, as well as supporting internal partners such as sales, marketing, and operations, etc. through the daily management of a team of up to 30 employees to include hiring, motivating, recognizing and rewarding, coaching, counseling, training and problem solving. Additionally, responsible for assisting manager with development, analyses and implementation of staffing, training, scheduling, and reward/recognition programs.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones and performance evaluations.
- Address employee relations issues and administer corrective actions in alignment with company policies.
- Foster a positive and high-performing team culture.
- Oversee daily operations of customer service processes including orders, billing, pricing, and reporting.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in staffing plans, training schedules, and reward/recognition programs.
- Partner with the manager on commission and incentive tracking for the sales team.
- Ensure timely, knowledgeable, and professional responses to customer inquiries.
- Provide frontline support for resolving escalated issues and complex customer needs.
- Establish and maintain work procedures that support departmental and organizational goals.
- Communicate department goals and updates effectively to the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations).
- Escalate significant employee or operational concerns appropriately.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service or production coordination.
- At least 2 years of experience in supervisory or leadership role.
- Proficient with computer software, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused, professional, and team-oriented.
- Coachable, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Ability to align team performance with company vision and goals.
