Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrated ability to own complex product challenges and drive outcomes through influence in cross-functional environments
  • Proven track record of shaping product direction, aligning teams, and delivering results through credibility, clarity, and judgment rather than formal authority
  • Exceptional product judgment with comfort operating in ambiguity, framing problems, making principled tradeoffs, and moving teams from uncertainty to action
  • Strong product management expertise including discovery, narrative thinking, prioritization, and decision making, with a track record of modeling high-quality practices
  • Experience driving change in product ways of working by introducing new approaches, tools, and operating norms and building momentum through results and trust
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders on product intent, value, and tradeoffs
  • Knowledge of credit risk concepts and lending processes, combined with intellectual curiosity, AI proficiency, and commitment to responsible and ethical AI use

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree such as an MBA or equivalent is preferred

Responsibilities

Define product direction and model modern product management practices to drive clarity, outcomes, and momentum across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Strategy to translate strategic direction into clear product outcomes, priorities, and delivery plans for complex product areas
  • Define product vision, outcomes, and priorities aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market context
  • Lead product discovery, framing problems, evaluating options, and driving evidence-based decisions in ambiguous or evolving situations
  • Set the standard for high-quality product management through strong execution in discovery, prioritization, narrative development, and outcome definition
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution by partnering with engineering, design, data, commercial, legal, and operational stakeholders
  • Act as a catalyst for improving product ways of working by identifying opportunities for change and building momentum through influence and visible results
  • Communicate product intent, progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to senior stakeholders to enable informed decision making and alignment
  • Support the evolution of product strategy and execution through continuous learning, feedback integration, and adoption of emerging practices including AI

About the Team

The Lending Solutions Product Management team is responsible for delivering products that modernize how lenders assess risk, make decisions, and serve their customers. The team integrates Moody's data, analytics, and research into scalable software solutions that support customer onboarding, origination, and portfolio monitoring. By enhancing product quality, usability, and outcomes, the team plays a key role in transforming lending technology and enabling more effective, data-driven decision making at scale.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$171,100.00-$248,050.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
