Join a growing commercial construction team as an Assistant Project Manager supporting large-scale, complex projects in South Hill, VA. Description

  • Support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with field operations, superintendents, vendors, and clients to maintain project milestones.
  • Monitor project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reports.
  • Help manage budgets, forecasting, and project financial performance.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources and support day-to-day project operations to ensure successful project execution.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the company's Virginia operations.
  • Gain mentorship and training designed to accelerate progression into a Project Manager role.

Profile

  • 0-2 years of construction industry experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting commercial construction projects is highly desired.
  • Concrete, industrial, or data center experience is not required.
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive, self-starter mentality.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Must be able to commute to or relocate to South Hill, VA

Job Offer

  • Competitive Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
  • Annual Bonus: 5-10% annually
