Mechanical Air Conditioning is seeking a residential mechanical estimator to join our growing company. This is a salaried, full time position with weekly pay and potential bonus opportunity.

Mechanical Air Conditioning is a 40-year-old family business. We specialize in air conditioning installation for residential tract homes-committed to quality, efficiency, and customer comfort.

As an estimator, you will:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications and other documents related to the overall project
• Produce mechanical plans, heat loads and assemblies
• Respond to change orders
• Ensure that all drawings, heat loads, assemblies and relevant work meets applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits and walkthroughs as necessary
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, codes, and pricing.

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 1 to 3 years' estimating experience as a mechanical estimator
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, including active listening.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of construction practices
• Experience with Microsoft office suite
• Experience with Wrightsoft Software preferred, but not required
