Power Generation Account Manager
Western New York manufacturing and repair facility for the energy industry seeks an Power Generation Account Manager.
Job Overview:
As a Power Generation Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering customer relationships within your assigned industrial segment. This position demands proactive collaboration with both customers and internal teams to meet and exceed annual sales objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Account Manager's primary focus will be selling manufacturing and repair services for the energy industry, and will be responsible for the following:
- Sales Focus: Drive the sales of rotating equipment products, services, and parts, with an emphasis on steam turbines, gas turbines, and compressors.
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Solution Communication: Present and promote innovations and technology solutions to address customer operational challenges.
- Strategy Development: Formulate and execute a sales strategy for targeted clients to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
- Collaboration: Partner with technical sales support to ensure successful sales execution and customer satisfaction.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on a daily basis.
- Travel: Commit to approximately 50% travel to engage with customers and support sales efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Energy Industry experience with a focus in sales organization
- Have knowledge of steam turbines, gas turbines, and/or compression operations
- Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with customers
- Results driven leadership philosophy that utilizes an empowerment style to achieve innovative, continuous, and measurable results
- Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
