Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will report into the Engineering Manager and mentor junior engineers. You will be a key contributor to the team's growth and team is work hands-on with programming and process development. This role involves collaboration with shop floor personnel to ensure efficient and accurate production of complex parts.

Description

The main responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer, include, but are not limited to:

  • Programming 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC lathes, including those with live tooling.
  • Designing custom fixtures and tooling to support efficient manufacturing.
  • Defining and documenting complete manufacturing processes.
  • Creating detailed 2D process drawings, operation sheets, work instructions, tool lists, and inspection criteria.
  • Troubleshooting setup challenges and support the machining of both prototype and production components.

Profile

The Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience
  • Proficient in current CAD/CAM software (NX preferred).
  • Strong background in machining complex, precision parts.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; deep understanding of GD&T.
  • Familiarity with metrology tools and inspection processes.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a team-first mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and adapt to varying schedules as needed.
  • Must meet ITAR compliance requirements.
