Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Material Handler to join its organization.

Responsbilities:

Handle receiving, transporting, storing, and ensuring accurate inventory levels of materials within the warehouse.
Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site
Performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.
Open containers using hand tools: counts, weighs and samples materials and uses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and recording information.
Operate a forklift.
Follows department's material handling practices and procedures along with customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner.
Verify quantity, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation.
Work with Oracle and other computer systems including both in-house programs and customer portals.
Work with a team and collaborate with other departments to meet production needs.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School Diploma with 1+ years of experience
Proficient Forklift Operator
Strong communication skill
Must be able to work with a team
Availability to work overtime
Organizational skills
Ability to physically lift objects up to 35 pounds
A strong work ethic
Basic Math skills
Strong attention to detail

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Oracle or SAP experience
Microsoft Office experience
Manufacturing or Warehouse experience
Cycle count and inventory investigation experience
Inventory control experience
Shipping and receiving material handler experience
Time management skills
Ability to work alone or as a team

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $37295 - $59672

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
