Overview
C Tech, a Repligen company, develops advanced UV/Vis Spectrophotometric instruments utilizing unique Variable Pathlength Technologies (VPT) for Pharm/Bio industries.
The R&D Electrical Engineer intern will have the unique experience of interacting directly with senior engineers working on projects in various stages of new product development. The intern will assist in evaluating and engineering various electronic components and subsystems. The intern will also be a contributor in our cross-function team project meetings to support development and completion of projects. They may work with a variety of tools, including Altium, and various software development IDEs to develop PC board layout, firmware and software.
Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, work closely with senior engineers developing and testing electrical components or systems:
A. Involve and contribute to team discussions to analyze, investigate, and resolve problems
B. Assist in the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks
C. Provide technical support to engineers, as needed
D. Opportunities to develop experience of conceptual design, detail design, testing, and/or project engineering
E. Operate as a multidisciplinary member of the team of creative, independent individuals
F. Develop electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams, and charts
Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience/exposure to MATLAB, Spice, LabVIEW, circuit board design, and/or analog/digital test equipment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented product development organization.
- Proficiency with the use of personal computers, including word processing and graphical applications.
- Passion for troubleshooting and developing new designs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $20/Hr-$22/Hr. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
