Job Summary –
We are seeking a Power BI Developer responsible for building interactive dashboards and reports by pulling and integrating data from spreadsheets and multiple content sources. The role focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights through data modeling, visualization, and analytics.
Years of experience needed – 4 to 6 Years
Responsibility:
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements
- Extract and integrate data from Excel, CSV, SharePoint, and other content sources
- Perform data transformation and cleaning using Power Query
- Create robust data models and relationships
- Develop DAX measures, KPIs, and calculations
- Ensure data accuracy, validation, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs
- Maintain documentation and reporting standards
Technical Skills:
- Expert in Power BI development (Desktop & Service)
- Proficient in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL
- Strong data modeling and ETL concepts
- Experience integrating data from spreadsheets and multiple sources
- Advanced Excel (Power Pivot, formulas, data handling)
- Power BI Service (gateway, scheduled refresh, deployment pipelines)
- SQL querying and database concepts
- Data warehousing and star schema design
- Azure services (Data Factory, Azure SQL, Data Lake)
- API integration (REST, JSON, XML)
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
