Job Description
- Responsible for reporting to all scheduled classes and having lesson plans prepared prior to class start.
- Follows Learn to Skate Program and Learn to Play Program requirements and formats.
- Keeps accurate attendance records on all students.
- Notifies supervisor if any accidents occur and brings the student to the first aid room.
- Completes periodic evaluations for students to ensure proper level assignment.
- Answers parent questions and performs equipment checks as requested.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
- Learn to Skate USA membership required
- Minimum Level of Education Required None Required; Professional Skating Instructor continuing education preferred
- Minimum Level of Experience Required Coaching experience preferred, but not required
- Working Conditions Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $32.00. This position includes paid sick leave where required by law. Eligibility, accrual, and usage will follow applicable state and local regulations.
