Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Team Lead, Warehouse supporting Inbound in Florence, NJ.

Hours for this role are 7:00AM - 4:00PM

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for leading a team of forklift operators in accurately receiving and processing of HVAC equipment and accessories. Responsible for the safe operation of forklift, clamping and cleaning of equipment, stacking and pulling HVAC equipment to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Leading a team of forklift operators to make sure that inbound shipments are processed in a timely and efficient manner, by giving direction to team members and tracking efficiencies of the inbound/outbound process.
  • Will also be expected to fill all duties of a forklift operator including but not limited to items listed below:
    • Operate electric powered forklifts and clamps in an efficient and safe manner, including daily inspections of the equipment.
    • Performing minor maintenance and adjustments.
    • Advising management of all equipment problems and failures.
  • Be able to unload a trailer and move items to the inventory stocking area in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Audit shipping manifests for accuracy of received goods.
  • Documents information relating to the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is clean and organized and that all safety issues are reported.
  • Remain vigilant and cognizant of all potential theft or loss situations.
  • Ensures that the warehouse is secure when unattended.
  • Follow all CTPAT guidelines while completing work assignments and duties.
  • Insure that contract employees are performing duties as assigned.
  • Performs repetitive work such as loading and offloading containers, stacking and storing materials.
  • Support shift supervisor in daily tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Training:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience leading a team to achieve company goals.
  • 3+ years of forklift clamp experience.
  • Previous experience in appliance or HVAC material handling.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Knowledge of inbound distribution process and procedure preferred.
  • Team player demonstrating METUS core values including a desire to win together, deliver excellence, drive sustainability, focus on execution and learn continuously.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $26.92 and $37.02 an hour however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
