Description
Part-Time (Hybrid) NP/PASchedule: 8-10 hours/week with some flexibility on days/timesWorks under the supervision of the Medical Director. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is expected to diagnose, examine, interview, and prescribe treatment to patients using evidence-based treatment, ethical care, within the scope of their licensure.Responsibilities:- Provide evaluation/management (physician/prescriber) services to patients.
- Provides direction to the nursing staff, mid-range, and support level staff members.
- To ensure adequate agency preparation in the event of any relevant disaster, or other type of critical incident. Consulting leadership as needed.
- Attending team meetings, as necessary.
- Maintaining contact with family members/guardians, referral sources, and authorized outside sources, as necessary.
- Maintaining necessary licensure to practice and prescribe medicine.
- Serving as the contact for medical emergencies.
- Education: Board certified NP/PA and education in accordance with Ohio law.
- Active license in State of OH
- Interpersonal Skills: Interact in a pleasant and professional manner with other employees, physicians, providers, patients, and patient's families to promote a team effort through cooperation and respect for fellow employees.
