This role will cover Midland, Ovid, McBain and surrounding facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Some responsibilities of the Regional Clinical Coordinator (RN) include:<\/p>\n
- \n
- Conducts facility support visits to ensure ongoing progress of clinical operations goals and improvement plans. Communicates findings to the Clinical Services leadership<\/li>\n
- Make written oral reports\/recommendations to the Administrator, Clinical Services leadership, and Regional Director of Operations (RDO) as necessary\/required concerning the operation of the Nursing Department, and other departments at the facility.<\/li>\n
- Review data submitted each month from all facility Directors of Nursing for facilities assigned (such as DON Reports, Incident and Accident Data) to assist the facility and to identify trending regarding concerns with resident care. Report all concerns to the Clinical Services leadership and Regional Director of Operations as necessary.<\/li>\n
- Assist in participating in the mock survey process<\/li>\n
- Review facility plan of corrections for all deficiencies noted during mock survey inspections to assist the facility to develop appropriate plans of corrections to meet the needs of all residents in the facility.<\/li>\n
- Schedule visits announced and unannounced visits to the facility.<\/li>\n
- Assumes the key leadership role in mentorship and education to the Director of Nursing and other facility staff to ensure competency for position responsibilities, professional development and retention.<\/li>\n
- Maintains contact with the Clinical Services leadership to inform of potential Director of Nursing turnover and status of recruitment and retention efforts<\/li>\n
- Travel throughout Northern Michigan required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Education and\/or Experience:<\/p>\n
- \n
- 5 year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity in a long-term care facility.<\/li>\n
- Experience in multi-facility management or demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:<\/p>\n

- Current state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN). BSN preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Responsibilities<\/p>\n
- \n
- Establish financial and programmatic goals for the facility and conduct an annual evaluation of goal achievement.<\/li>\n
- Provide input into the annual operating budget.<\/li>\n
- Monitor monthly performance of facility in relation to the budget and intervene as needed.<\/li>\n
- Recruit, hire and provide orientation\/training for a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services.<\/li>\n
- Interpret and assure implementation of company policies and procedures.<\/li>\n
- Insure the highest quality of care is provided at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
- \n
- Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.<\/li>\n
- Proven leadership ability with at least three (3) years of experience as an administrator in either a long-term or sub-acute care facility.<\/li>\n
- Current administrator's license in the state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
