What You'll Do:
In this vital leadership role, you'll:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a 24-hour secure detention facility
• Supervise and support a dedicated team of professionals
• Ensure compliance with DJJ and licensure standards
• Champion a safe and secure environment for all
• Partner with key agencies, including Chesapeake Public Schools and CIBH, to deliver educational and behavioral health services
• Manage budgets, audits, employee relations, and crisis response
• Lead facility preparation for state audits and federal compliance, including the Prison Rape Elimination Act
• Collaborate with courts, DJJ, and stakeholders to shape policy and programming for youth
• Administer and monitor grant-funded initiatives that support your mission
