Our CPG client is seeking a Product Innovation Specialist! This role is full-time, onsite in Van Nuys.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Rapidly conceptualize and pitch new brands, product lines, and line extensions across all beauty and personal care categories.
- Identify and act on trend relevance, competitive whitespace, and consumer appeal.
- Lead the creative development of product names, packaging direction, and claims strategy.
- Create product briefs and inspiration decks for internal review and customer presentations.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, viral moments, and ingredient movements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring winning concepts to market.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- A highly creative, fast-thinking mindset with the ability to ideate across skin, hair, body, fragrance, nails, mens grooming, and more.
- Strong design and aesthetic sensibility.
- 5+ years of experience in beauty/personal care product innovation, marketing, or brand development.
- Proven track record of developing ideas that translate into commercial success.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with shifting priorities.
- Fluency in social media, trendspotting, and TikTok is a plus.
- Experience with off-price or mass retailers is a plus, but not required.
