Associate Director, Animal Health Enterprise Program Management Office
Job Description:
The Market Intelligence and Business Strategy (MIBS) Team leads our company's Animal Health's strategy formulation and execution through informed, data-driven insights and analysis. This team reports directly into the President of our company's Animal Health Division.
The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) is a function within MIBS that ensures the successful execution of Animal Health's enterprise strategic initiatives called "Must Wins". These "Must Wins" drive measurable business value in alignment with Animal Health's strategic framework. In addition, the EPMO manages the Enterprise Priorities Execution Committee, a governance body of senior global leaders, who will ensure the execution of the "Must Wins". The EPMO promotes more consistent ways of program managing efforts of this magnitude.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the EPMO, the Associate Director position will assist with and improve upon a program management practice within Animal Health. This practice is to include a methodology and supporting tools so that program status and execution is clearly communicated and governed. This position provides the opportunity to lead workstream(s) and/or to program lead a Must Win, providing an overall, end-to-end initiative management experience.
Primary Activities:
Develop, communicate, and execute project plans; manage all aspects including leading the kickoff meetings, coordination, development, implementation, including the financial implications, while prioritizing work, resources, and time
Drive accountability with workstream leads and their teams to achieve aligned plans and execution excellence to meet the program business outcomes
Establish and maintain strong working relationships across Animal Health as well as other company's Program/Project Management leaders
Help define the overall mandate for the new function, including identifying key requirements, resourcing needs, and driving disciplined delivery and execution; help build best in class project management processes and capabilities
Additional Activities:
Embed continuous improvement activities and implement/follow standard work, leveraging partnerships with PMO colleagues
Collaborate on cross-divisional process improvement initiatives and identify linkages to global enterprise efforts
Provide proactive support with the operationally challenging deployment activities at a market, program, function, division level
Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
Proven leadership skills with a minimum of 8 years of business experience and 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in a global setting
Required:
Expertise in coordinating and managing large, complex, cross- functional projects and/or programs simultaneously using strong project governance skills
Experience with project metrics and KPIs, including gathering, reporting, creating, and analysis
Ability to work in ambiguous situations, adapt quickly to a new environment and demands, to formulate a plan and manage individual deadlines and goals
Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
Excellent analytical and strong problem-solving capabilities
Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills at all levels
Willing to challenge others and to be challenged with demonstrated poise, presence, and emotional intelligence
Preferred
Strong understanding and familiarity of the Animal Health industry and Operations
Lean Six Sigma certification preferred: PMP certification desirable

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$126,500.00 - $199,100.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
