Assets and Logistics Manager
Where you’ll work: In this role, you will work onsite hybrid schedule at our North American Headquarters located at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive | Lithia, FL 33547.
Are you ready to lead critical asset management and drive innovation in supply chain operations? Mosaic is hiring an Assets and Logistics Manager to oversee vendor partnerships and infrastructure supporting the movement of approximately 10 million tons of raw materials annually. This role is key to maintaining the reliability of our specialized vessel network, managing high-impact projects like regulatory drydocks with significant spend and tight timelines, and ensuring our supply chain remains efficient and aligned with strategic goals. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams including Operations, Finance, Legal, and Insurance, while building strong relationships with plant locations and internal stakeholders to keep our logistics network running smoothly and sustainably.
What you’ll do?
Manage departmental financial accountability including Capital projects and Operating expenses with spend of ~$70 MM annually
Coordinate and manage execution of vessel dry-docks to ensure integrity of Assets that are critical to our supply chain network.
Oversee Vessel Bank lease contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Manage relationships with Marine Operating Vendors, along with associated vendors.
Direct and manage third-party logistics vendor performance and business integration.
Interface with Logistics and inventory planning, Sourcing, Operating Plants and supporting Terminal locations to ensure critical infrastructure remains in service to maintain flow of Raw Materials to our Plant locations in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with Legal, Treasury, Finance, and Risk Management to ensure proper risk and fiduciary due diligence.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, maritime, logistics or supply chain management discipline
5+ years of experience in transportation, asset management or related
5+ years of experience as a project leader
2+ years of experience in contract negotiations
Contract Negotiations experience
SAP Configuration experience
Bonus points if you have the following:
Master’s degree
PMP, Six Sigma
American Bureau of Shipping and U. S. Coast Guard regulatory compliance experience
